Chickenpox is a common illness that affects mainly children and causes an itchy, spotty rash that can blister, and scab and crust. Usually it is mild and clears up in a week or so. However, there is a popular belief that it can be dangerous for some people, such as pregnant women, newborn babies, and people with a weakened immune system.
The selection of a homeopathic remedy is based on the individual’s symptoms of illness, not on any broad conventionally-defined illness. It is important to stress this. Aconitum 6C is the best at the initial stage of chickenpox when there is fever, restlessness, and increased thirst.
Antimonium crud 6C is only if children have white-coated tongues and are irritable and have pimples and pustules which itch, especially after a bath or exposure to water, in the evening, and from the heat of the bed. The children tend to experience a prickly heat which is aggravated by exercise and warmth.
Apis Mel 6C is for children who have itching and stinging pox that is worse from heat and in warm rooms and better from cold and in cool rooms
Belladonna 10M is when children have severe headaches, flushed face, hot skin, and drowsiness with the inability to sleep and high temperature
Rhus Tox 6C is the most common remedy for chickenpox. These children experience intense itching, especially at night and from scratching. They are very restless.
However, for an accurate, individualised remedy selection, please consult with a qualified homeopath. This increases the likelihood of matching an individual with a remedy that will work for them. A remedy that does not match the symptoms of an individual’s illness will not work, but equally will do no harm!

Spray 4 times (0.5 mL) in mouth as needed and swallow. Shake well before use.
Does not contain: Gluten, artificial preservatives, colors, artificial sweeteners, yeast or wheat.
If taken as drops – place as many drops as the age of the child or adult in 200 ml water or juice of choice and drink in the morning before breakfast.
